On a wet evening in Bofeenaun, Lahardane opened brightly with three good points. However, Belmullet dominated for a spell, during which they scored a goal and four points with only one in reply. Just when it looked risky for Lahardane, two points and a Paul Coleman goal kept them in touch. The second half saw Lahardane snatch a draw with two late points in an exciting finish.
