Lahardane continued their good run by defeating Louisburgh at Bofeenaun in perfect conditions.

The home team started very well and after ten minutes were ahead 1-4, after points by Declan Leonard, Anthony McDermott and Thomas Jordan and 1-1 by Vincent Cawley.

Louisburgh did respond with goals but Cawley had a similar score for Lahardane to leave them 2-6 to 2-0 ahead at the break.

The second half was a most unusual one with Lahardane going fourteen points clear, further goals coming from Leonard and Cawley.

Louisburgh appeared dead and buried, however poor defending by Lahardane let Louisburgh through for three more goals.

Lahardane lifted their game again to land two more goals by Shane Blake and Damien Kelly.
