Lahardane juniors turned in one of their best performances in a long time in a thrilling game in Knockmore. The half time score of 1-3 each indicated what was to follow would be just as close. Vinnie Cawley's first goal was added to by a further goal by Kevin Garrett and Lahardane found themselves six points ahead with time nearly up.

Predictably Knockmore scored 1-3 to send the game into extra time. Lahardane turned the tide after that with fine points from James Gillespie and Tommy Holmes who helped himself to three points after coming on as a sub, and a blistering goal from Declan Leonard.

Lahardane's tally of 1-5 in the extra time came without any reply from Knockmore. A great evening was had by both teams and the supporters watching on.
