Playing at home, Lahardane got the win they needed to force a play-off against Bonniconlon. The game had everything: a Bonniconlon goal at the very start, Lahardane led 1-4 to 1-0 midway through the first half thanks to a penalty save by Declan Forde.

After half time, Bonniconlon’s defending slackened with a further 2-4 going in with one in reply.

Both sides traded goals over the final quarter, with Cormac Rowland amassing 3-8 and David Reilly soloing in for 1-4 in a flattering win in their final group game.
