Lahardane, playing at home in Bofeenaun, raced away to a 2-2 lead before Glenamoy clawed back two points. The visitors then lost one of their most influential players and found themselves 2-9 to 0-2 down at half time. Things continued along the same lines with two goals and two more points before Glenamoy scored four fine points without reply and were in hard luck for many more, before Lahardane went squandering a litany of chances.
