Lahardane's relentless winning ways continued at Glenhest with this important win. Tourmakeady, unbeaten before this, began with two Ciaran Walsh points and it wasn't long before a goal arrived. The half time score was shaping up to be 1-6 to 0-3 until just on the stroke of half time, when Tom Cawley won the ball and squeezed in a goal from a near impossible angle. In the first attack of the second half Sinclair Gibbons got his second goal in a week and a six point deficit was erased in a minute. With frustration building up, the West Mayo side had a midfielder dismissed and from then on the momentum was with Lahardane. Wtih Anthony McDermott having a field day as the spare player the scores gradually increased to give Lahardane a six point win. Johnny Farragher and Ciaran Walsh tried hard for the losers.
