North Mayo Under-16 'B' Final (Tuesday, 27-July-99) Lahardane........0-9 Kilfian may yet rue the missing of a penalty when the sides clash again in the replay at Crossmolina. The opportunity for Kilfian to pull clear from the penalty came after twenty minutes but the usually reliable Darragh Walsh blasted the ball wide. Lahardane, although not making the best use of the supporting wind, were three points clear, courtesy of Chris Barrett, Paul Coleman and Pat Maloney, before Darragh Walsh opened Kilfian's account. Kilfian could only manage one more score before the break, a point by Donal Gilvarry, while Lahardane tacked on three more points, two by Dylan Nolan and one by Pat Maloney to leave them 0-6 to 0-2 ahead at the break. A Noel Loughney point and a goal by Martin Kearney appeared to put Kilfian in the driving seat when Derek Reape added on another point. However, Lahardane regained the advantage to leave Kilfian having to come from behind to force a replay with scores coming from Darragh Walsh. Lahardane: E. Diffley, P. Corcoran, D. Sheridan, M. Naughton, D. Marley, J. Reilly, J. Barrett, E. Crane (0-1); D. Nolan (0-3); J. Rowland, Chris Barrett (0-1); Fergal McCormack, Pat Maloney (0-2); B. Ruttledge (0-1); P. Coleman (0-1). Ref.: G.
