This North Mayo under-16 B final replay at Crossmolina showed a two-goal winning margin for Lahardane. However, Kilfian were left to rue many wides in both halves from good possession at midfield.

Having opened the scoring with a fine point, Kilfian gifted the Nephinsiders a goal, but Lahardane quickly responded with the first of Dylan Nolan's four points and one from Brendan Ruttledge whose fielding caused all kinds of problems.

Fergal McCormack and Paul Coleman added further points to extend Lahardane's interval advantage to three points, 1-5 to 1-2.

The second half began with the momentum still with Lahardane - Pat Maloney shot a goal and points were added from captain Chris Barrett and county under-16 Nolan.

Kilfian had a good spell and pulled back two points but the game was effectively kiiled as a contest when McCormack set up Ruttledge for a third goal. Kilfian got their second goal from a penalty.
