Transport

 Public Transport is principally by bus although Boyle is also served by train. Bus Eireann runs frequent services to Boyle and Castlebaldwin. It operates less frequently to Ballyfarnon, Drumshanbo, Dowra, Drumkeeran and Keadue. Irish Rail operates a train between Dublin and Sligo, serving Boyle.

Many guesthouses will arrange to collect and deliver you to or from a days walking if you have booked in with them. Car parks are shown on the maps along the route. If leaving your car unattended for any length of time, be careful not to leave items on view or any thing too valuable in the car.
