Experienced, Highly Qualified, Hard working and dedicated teachers are employed at Limerick Tutorial Centre. They are keenly aware of all examination requirements and are most willing to help and facilitate students in every possible way

Only students who are motivated and prepared to work hard should apply. The dedication and comittment of Limerick Tutorial Centremust be accompanied by a similar dedication and comittment from the students.Outstanding tuition alone - without hard work on the students part - will not improve grades. Students who are not working to the best of their ability in the opinion of Limerick Tutorial Centre face immediate expulsion without any remission of fees.

Where it is necessary tutorial classes are held. Thesenclasses are an important part of the Centre's course. Students who encounter difficulties in subjects will find the tutorials very helpful.

While the priority is on the excellence of the teaching in the classroom, the Centre provides extra aids for the students. Handouts consisting of summaries of topics dealt with in class, sample papers, questions and model answers, ect. are given wherever feasible, in order to clarify and reinforce the class tuition.

Study Facilities are available from 9.00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday and from 7 - 10 p.m. Monday to Friday. This Study is very strictly supervised by experienced supervisors. It is their duty to ensure that not alone is there a total silence in the study, but also to observe the students carefully to ensure they are doing meaningful study.

Whereas Limerick Tutorial Centre is an Academic institution Dedicated to academic excellence, it is also a caring institution, concerned with the total development of the individual pupil. To this end there is in place a system and structure of pastoral care, which is designed to meet the needs of individual students. The system operates as follows:

• Students are assigned to individual staff members.


• Arrangements can be made for a student to seek an appointment with a preferres member of staff to discuss personal and other concerns.


• Where necessary, provision can be arranged for additional psychological counselling support.

While the emphasis is on hard work, good behaviour and achieving their potential, students are very happy at Limerick Tutorial Centre.
