The Fianna were a great and strong army who fought for the High King of Ireland and after Fionn MacCumhaill, another famous Irish hero, slayed the Goblin of Tara he was leader.

During the Winter the Fianna stayed in the forts of the high kings nobles and during Summer they hunted in the forests. Among its famous members were Fionn's son Oisín and Oisín's son Oscar. The Fianna's motto was

"Goodness in our hearts, strength in our limbs and truth on our lips."
