This is the plaque outside Taylor's Pub in Drumsna.

It states: Anthony Trollop 1815-1882, celebrated 19th Century novelist stayed at this house, then an Inn and commenced his first novel, 'The Mc Dermott of Ballycloran 'here in 1848.

He based this book on the ruined Headford House, which was just outside the village.
