The village of Kilcrohane is
situated at the south westerly tip of Ireland on the sheepshead peninsula. It
has two cosy pubs, a post office, and one shop. Surrounded by a rugged coastline
sculptured by the ice age and influenced by the warm waters of the gulf stream,
here you can enjoy idyllic quietness, clean sea air, and some of the most
outstandingly scenic countryside to be found anywhere in the world.
Letterwest
is an ideal touring base from which to explore this most
beautiful region. Set in two acres of landscaped lawns, our large stone
farmhouse, just outside the village of Kilcrohane , nestles proudly in the folds
of the hillside and commands breathtaking views of mountains, sky, and sea Climb
the hill behind the house to view the very end of the western world, and soak up
that special light mirrored in the bays and inlets turning this island into an
enchanted land
The house has been tastefully converted into three completely
private self contained wings.
