Once again a great day and a very successful event, 43 entries(incl. RTV class) was a great turn
out, and to organise and marshal was no problem to the Tipperary Club, our compliments to clerk
of the course Michael Ormand and his assistant Stephen Geary and their team of marshals.
JEEPS ARE READY, STEADY, GO!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! Dualla is a very popular venue for all competitors, as everybody is within 1½ to 2 hours
from it and the site is very diverse and challenging. The most spectacular event of the day was the 'Mighty Beast' doing a turn and to
add salt to the wound also being beaten by Paul McCarthy in his Suzuki.
There were quite a few turns on the day but no damage done and above all nobody hurt.
Brian Berkery took 2nd overall, a well-deserved prize, and his new Suzuki is a credit
to him.
DAMIEN LEADS THE WAY BENNY SMITH GETS OVER HUMPS AND HOLLOWS!
A good R.T.V class was run at the bottom of the site with about nine competing.
Our thanks to Shane once again and to all the Tipperary boys and girls. Many thanks to the site
owner and to the hospitality in Dualla at the prize giving at the close of the day. Next event
is in Vernon Mount, Cork on the 12th November.
See you all there,
Robin Lyons.
