Bale Wrappers
Superwrap (Trailed)
 |
A heavy duty high performance trailed wrapper, capable of wrapping a bale
on the turntable while carrying another on the load arm. The machine is fitted with a
750mm wide pre-stretch unit and a hydraulic cut and tie system as standard. The
pre-stretch unit consists of aluminium rollers geared to each other with two heavy duty
steel gears, giving a film stretch of 70%. |
The turntable is powered by a hydraulic motor, and consists of two chequer plate
rollers, thus eliminating the need for belts. The very low hydraulic oil flow requirement
of 15 L/m is well within the range of even the smallest tractor, while the turntable speed
is controlled by the use of a hydraulic flow divider.
When wrapped the bale is offloaded onto a hydraulic tail mat, which eliminates impact
damage on contact with the ground.
The wrapper is fitted with a bale wrap monitor which is programmed to operate a warning
buzzer when the correct number of film layers have been applied to the bale. It also shows
the number of bales wrapped, with an end of season total.
Wide flotation tyres are used to cater for even the softest ground conditions.
Superwrap (Linkage Mounted)
 |
This Unique design of wrapper, while retaining all the features of it's
trailed counterpart, has shown distinct advantages on wet land, hills and places with
difficult access. being linkage mounted it is highly manouverable and is built to
withstand the extreme pressures associated with continuous contractor use. It has an
extremely low drop-off height of approximately 12 inches. |
A hydraulic cut and tie system and bale wrap monitor are fitted as standard. The
typical 50 H.P. tractor is quite capable of operating it with ease, and can totally wrap
the bale in approximately 30 seconds.
Heavy duty bearings are used throughout with grease points clearly marked to facilitate
many years of trouble free use.
