Fencing is a very old sport that came from sword-fighting. Fencing is very fast and very graceful. The athletes in fencing are called  fencers. Fencers wear special suits and helmets so they do not get hurt. A fencer gets a point for touching the other fencer with the sword. A touch is called a hit. The fencer with the most hits wins.
