Rowing is a sport for racing in boats. The athletes who compete in rowing are called rowers. There are many rowing events in the Olympic Games. Some are for one person. Some are for a team. Rowers use oars to make their boats move fast through the water. The rowing boats are very long and smooth. Olympic rowing races are held on flat water with no waves.
