Sailing

In sailing, people race each other in boats with sails. Some sailboats are very big and need a team to race them. The smallest sailboat in the Olympic Games is the sailboard. A sailboard is like a surfboard with a sail. Sailors compete in more than one race at the Olympic Games. The sailor who does the best out of many races wins the gold medal. Some sailing races at the Olympic Games were in Sydney Harbour.  Men and women can be in the teams.
