St. Michael's Boys National School was built in 1986.
There are about 250 pupils in the school and we have fifteen teachers including a remedial teacher, two resource teachers, a traveller resource teacher and a teacher who is heading the autism unit. There are also four child care assistants among the staff.
Our headmaster is Seán Ó Díomasaigh who has been so since the school was built.
We play Gaelic Football, hurling, soccer and athletics. Trim is a small country town with a population of over 3,000 people. It has many historical ruins such as Trim Castle. The castle was used in the making of the film "Braveheart".
