Stephen McCarthy

I chose to do transition year because I wanted a year to take a break after the Junior Cert.

I am interested in all sports, music, cars and bike.

My favourite subject in school is computer studies and I also like P.E.

The sport I most enjoy is Gaelic football, soccer, hurling and tennis. I also enjoy F1 and other motor sports. I also enjoy winter sports.

I listen to every single type of music except for rock. I also play the saxaphone for the Clondalkin Youth Band.

For my work experience Iwent to St. Josephs B.N.S. and also worked with the Garda band.
For my second work experience I worked with the Garda Band. It was class, everyone was sound and even got the chance to go to one of their concerts - which was deadly. Overall it was excellent work experience.

For me the highlight of Transition Year was the work experience because I really enjoyed playing music with the Garda Band and would love to take it up as a full-time job. I also enjoyed all of the trips we went on.
