Follow these instructions to install Basil on Linux.
  1. Download the tar file basil_linux.tar.

  2. Extract the files from the archive using the command 
      tar zxvf basil_linux.tar

    The files will be installed in a subdirectory called basil under your current directory.

  3. Read the file ./basil/README.TXT for further instructions.
The executables in this download are statically linked. Please let me know if you are unable to run them.
