"Against all the rules here are the Rowe sisters playing in white! One was left handed the other right handed but otherwise identical. These are a couple of photos that were in my dad's collection both are signed so I know Diane is on the left while Rosalind is on the right.
They won the 1950 English Open Ladies Doubles for the 2nd time in a row. L.Petterson(SWE) lost to B.Maimquist(SWE) 22/20,22/20 in the Junior Singles, an early indication of things to come? A.Ehrlich(FRA) bt B.Kennedy (Yorks & R.A.F) in the Mens. While Johnny Leach & Jack Carrington won the Men's Doubles.
