The Altar Food Company is situated in Ireland's most South - westerly tip in beautiful West Cork In 1978 'the Altar Restaurant' was established, using the very best of Irish Produce, and wherever possible local, organic and G.M. free.

The Altar Food Company is now bringing the recipes from the kitchens of the Altar Restaurant to your table at home.

Our products are hand-made in individual batches using our own recipes.

Plum Sauce - Deliciously created to serve with Skeaghanore duckling. a sweet and sour tang, with ginger, shoyu, garlic. Heat and Serve.
Dill Relish - serve with smoked fish, or as sandwich topping. Contains mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, fresh dill.
Duck Liver Pate - using Skeaghanore duckling livers, with butter, onions and sherry, sealed with clarified butter.
Marinated Herring - Seasonal West Cork herring mildly pickled with fresh dill, onions and carrots.
Marinated Mackerel - A plumper seasonal West Cork fish mildly pickled.
Marinated and Potted Mussels to Prawns - Look out for new lines as taste souvenirs.
