Summary:
It is hope that a sculpture located at the Toormore cross will encourage visitors to explore
the Mizen peninsular and will create an extra feature to further highlight the identity of
Toormore Village.
A large number of retired residents live in the area where there is a need for the
development of employment. By utilising the skills base that lives in the area it is hoped that
further job creation may be encouraged.
