Text Box: St. Olaf’s Parents Association Text Box: All places in both Junior Infant classes for Sept. 2010 have now been filled and a waiting list is in operation for any further applicants. There will be a meeting for parents only of new Junior Infants on Thursday, Feb 4th at 1.15pm in the school Hall. Applications for the enrolment of new pupils in St. Olaf’s for Sept. 2011 and onwards are currently being taken at the Office. 1st Penance / Communion There will be a meeting for Parents only of children making their 1st Penance & Text Box: 1st Communion on Wednesday, 27th Jan in Queen of Angels school hall at 8pm. Dates for Sacraments are listed overleaf. Interactive Whiteboards. We have installed 4 extra interactive whiteboards in classrooms this year bringing our current total to 9. This was made possible thanks to the generosity of family voluntary contributions and as a result of the Parents Association Fun Pentathlon which raised almost €3000. Mobile Phone recycling We are also collecting old mobile phones for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation and to date have collected over Text Box: 350 phones. Our target is 500 phones and this will get us yet another interactive whiteboard! Phones may be dropped off in any of the boxes located around the school and in most classrooms. Thanks again for your support. Poetry Feis & Scór na bPáistí Our Poetry Feis is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb 16 and Naomh Olaf GAA Club will host their annual Scór na bPáistí on Sunday Jan 24 at the clubhouse from 1.30pm to 5pm.
