Text Box: St. Olaf’s Parents Association Text Box: Fáilte ar ais to everybody particularly our new Junior Infants. ‘The Keegans and The Foleys’ as they are affectionately called have settled in marvellously as have all our pupils and staff as we look forward to the coming school year. We would also like to welcome our new staff members; Ms Bruton, Ms Geraghty,Ms O Sullivan, Mr Fitzpatrick and Ms Nic Cormaic and also take this opportunity to wish Mr Behan well in his retirement after 33 years at St Olaf’s. School Hours We would like to remind everybody that our school Text Box: is open to receive pupils from 8.50 a.m. each morning and we earnestly urge parents to make sure that children are not left at the school before this time.  This request is purely in the children’s own interest as the school cannot be responsible for their supervision until after the official school opening time. This is particularly important on wet mornings Text Box: as the school doors will not be opened until 8.50 a.m. irrespective of weather conditions. Classes will end at 1.30pm for Infants and 2.30pm for all other classes . This is our 14th year publishing newsletters and this year we are reverting to the printed format after a brief experiment with publishing it solely to the website. Parents seem to prefer the hard copy which is easily displayed on the fridge door! Text Box: Parents Association News Thanks to all who assisted at the recent fun pentathlon at N. Olaf GAA grounds. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of another Interactive Whiteboard for the school. Class photos are Text Box: currently being taken for the school calendar which will be available in December. At our recent AGM, Teresa Gleeson was re-elected chairperson; Niamh O Connell Secretary and Susan Hogan as Text Box: Treasurer.
