FIRST CONFESSION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2011

Programme of events:

1. Enrolment Ceremony for St Olafs children will take place in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally on Sunday Sept 26th at the 10.00am Family Mass
2. Meeting of Parents in Queen of Angel's School Hall on Wednesday, October 13th. at 8.00 p.m re 'Do This in Memory Programme'.
3. Meeting of Parents in Queen of Angel's School Hall on Wednesday, January 26th. at 8.00 p.m re 1st Penance
4. First Penance takes the form of Celebration of the Sacrament of Penance Rite 2 at which parents are requested to attend, along with any other family members who wish to participate. This ceremony takes place on Wednesday, February 16th at 8.00p.m. in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally.
5. Meeting of Parents in St Olaf's School Hall. on Wednesday, April 13th. at 8.00 p.m.
6. First Holy Communion, Saturday, May 14th. at 10.00 a.m. in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally.

CONFIRMATION 2011

Programme of events:

1. CONFIRMATION MEETING for parents/ guardians only on Wednesday, November 3rd at 8pm in Queen of Angels school (TBC)
2. SERVICE OF COMMITMENT for Parents and children in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally on Sunday 7th November at the 10.00am Mass.
3. CONFIRMATION RETREATwith Fr Paddy Moran on March 1st and 2nd during school hours.
4. CONFIRMATION MEETING for parents/ guardians only on Wednesday, March 15th at 8pm in St Olaf's school
5. PRAYER SERVICE OF LIGHT in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally,on Wednesday 23rd March at 8pm. Parents / guardians are requested to attend.
6. The SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION will be administered in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally, on Friday April 1 8th at 11.00 a.m. The clebrant will be Monsignor Dermot Lane PP
7. POST-CONFIRMATION RETREAT in St Benildus Pastoral Centre on May 25th & 26th during school hours.
