School Uniform Policy

It is the policy of St. Olaf's NS that each pupil should wear full school uniform* to school each day except on days where they may have PE or some other school activity which necessitates the wearing of their official school tracksuit**. Children may not wear tracksuit tops or bottoms which are other than those recommended by the school.

*Full school uniform consists of:
· V-neck Navy jumper or cardigan with school crest- (available only from Schoolware, Ballyogan Industrial Park).
· Light blue shirt
· Navy tie
· Plain Navy school trousers or Navy skirt / pinafore
· Black / Navy shoes

Note:
Children may wear a round-neck jumper (and no tie) in place of the V-neck jumper. Such jumpers are not available from our official suppliers and school crests should be purchased and applied to them.

**Official tracksuit consists of:
· Navy tracksuit top with school crest and navy tracksuit bottoms- (available only from Schoolware, Ballyogan Industrial Park).

· Light blue Polo shirt with school crest- (available only from Schoolware, Ballyogan Industrial Park).

Note: Children may not substitute other navy tops / bottoms for the official tracksuits but may purchase similar polo shirts from other outlets.

Children may also wear Navy shorts (tailored) in hot weather if desired.
