The Mink.

The Mink is rich brown in colour and has white spots on his belly. The Mink is closely related to the weasel, stoat and the otter. The Mink is a night creature. They swim for their prey. They hunt for other animals. They have been killed for their fur. Their fur is dark rich brown with soft under fur with white spots on their belly.

Diet – Fish, birds, rodents, rabbits (in the spring) and field mice.

Habitat – The River bank

Litter – it has a litter of ten.
