THE NULLIPHIDIAN MANIFESTO
REACTION:
There is no reason to suppose that deities might exist.
There is no reason to suppose that there is 'life' after death.
There is no reason to suppose that we are subject to the moral laws of some non-human authority.
There is no reason to suppose that some sort of salvation is possible through supernatural actions, nor, for that matter, any reason to suppose that such salvation is at all necessary.
There is no reason to suppose that existence has a creator.
There is no reason to deduce existence from a feeling.
There is no reason to suppose that those who offer personal evidence against the above statements are not delusional, fraudulent or both.
ACTION:
We believe that humankind must put its trust in itself in order to progress.
We believe that the actions of humankind should not be governed or influenced by myth and superstition.
We believe that each individual should not just be free, but encouraged to be free.
We believe that with freedom comes responsibility, and that the two should be nurtured to complement each other.
We believe that the only true authority is that which we bestow upon ourselves or each other.
We believe that a little bit of common sense is more valuable than a lot of so-called faith.
