Championship Manager 2/9798

As many of you know, this is a football managing game. It is the most realistic football managing sim out available yet and is very popular. It has thousands of accurate stats and a brilliantly made transfer market. The game has many other features. The first release was in 1995 when Domark released "Championship Manager 2". It sold very well and soon became very popular. Patches were released and it soon began to go up the charts until it reached number one.

It was a success.

The creators-Collyer brothers are now developing what is to be their 3rd success after completing "CM9798" which was released last year. Again it was a success. Although similar to the original version it still sold a lot. As you might expect, it does have a few extra features. It gives you the opportunity to play 3 leagues at once ranging from the French league to Portuguese. However you require 16mb RAM in order to run 3 leagues simultaneously. The players have all been improved and up-to-date transfers have been made. But perhaps one of the more obvious changes is that you can now choose who takes corners, free kicks, penalties and captain. Note. a numbers of stats have been changed e.g. adaptability is now included. For £25.99 this is a bargain for a editor is also provided for your selfish needs.

Championship Manager All stars was due out in December but Eidos decided to cancel the project for the longly awaited "Deathtrap Dungeon". Recently it has been said that it might come out as a different project in the future. We just have to wait and see.
Cm3 is unlikely to be out until Late 1998 i.e Autumn. The original plan was to release it during the World Cup but they wanted to make network available but time was too short so it is delayed until Autumn. Here are some screen shots:

Some of the changes in Cm3 are: New transfer market, more leagues, able to employ coaches and youth team managers. If you want more info go to Championship Manager Homepage.
