All are welcome to train in Genbukan Ireland dojos. As a matter of formal etiquette, once you have located your nearest dojo you must contact the instructor and introduce yourself, you cannot just turn up at a class and train or watch a lesson.

The first Genbukan dojo was set up in Ireland in August 1997 by Martin O'Raghailligh G.W.N.B.F / K.J.J.R. after returning from Japan. This dojo was established in Blarney, County Cork, and is situated less than five minutes from the historic Blarney Castle.
