Project Europe: Salesians from all over the world have been invited by the Rector Major Fr Pascual Chavez to help revitalise the Salesian charism in Europe. Several Salesians have volunteered to join us in Ireland for that same purpose. They include Fr Daniel Colonel (Peru) now in Maynooth; Fr Alphonse Arulanandam (India, Madras) now in Milford, Castletroy, Limerick; Bros Dominic and Paul (both Vietnam) now in Celbridge, and Bro. Roberto (Italy) now in Tunis.

The Salesians run a secondary school. In addition they do parish supply. Local community groups can avail of the facilities and the ACRE (A Community Rethinking Education) project has a lease on site.

A Salesian Spirituality Centre is being developed in St Catherine's Hostel. The DeSales Language School is also run there during the year. It may be contacted
at sdbmaynooth@iol.ie. The houses in Maynooth and Celbridge are officially part of the one community.

Don Bosco House, 57 Lr Drumcondra Road, Dublin 9
This is a hostel for young people in difficulties who are given professional care and attention. The service is funded by the Health Service Executive.

This is a hostel for young people from 12 - 16 years of age who are given professional care and attention. The service is funded by the Health Service Executive.
Salesian House, St. Teresa’s Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12
This is the Provincial House of the Salesians in Ireland. Some of the Salesians in the house work as curates in the local and surrounding parishes, one priest is curate in Walkinstown, and others operate in various ministries including writing and administration.

This is a parish community and houses a counselling and job-creation centre for young people at risk.

Salesian College, Copsewood, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick
There are two colleges on the campus: a secondary college and an agricultural college. In addition the Salesians run their central Missions Office from here and do parish supply work as well as chaplaincies. It is also a centre for Salesian Cooperators and Past Pupils. One Salesian is chaplain to Ratoath Community college. The Salesians do parish supply work and Warrenstown is a centre for Salesian Cooperators and Past Pupils.
