Welome to our new pupils. Twelve Junior Infants
started in Cappawhite N.S. on September 4th.
Welcome also to our new resource teacher,Ms Edel Collins.
A large fund-raising campaign is currently underway
in Cappawhite to raise funds for the school extension. Please

details.
The school will close for the following days during
Term 1:
Mid-term Break : October 28th- November 6th
December 8th
Christmas Holidays: December 21st - January 8th
Swimming classes have been organised by the school.
Pupils will travel to the pool in Tipperary town. Pupils from
second , third fourth and fifth class will attend the lessons
during Term 1.
Fourth, fifth and sixth class pupils have been very
busy fundraising for the last month. They have collected £400
for the charity " Bóthar". In early December they sold
their Christmas magazine "Christmas Capers " and later
in the month organised a bring and buy sale in the school. The
money raised will purchase a goat and 50 chickens which will be
sent to Africa later in the year.
Congratulations to all the pupils of Cappawhite N.S.
who participated in the recent carol service which was held in
the Church of Our Lady of Fatima , Cappawhite. The night was
enjoyed by numerous parents and other members of the community.
