Hi Art and Pauline,

Myself and Pat just wanted to thank you both for a lovely two weeks spent in Sleepy Hollows.
You made us feel so welcome and we absolutely loved the relaxing, quiet atmosphere. The site is so clean and well-kept and we are really looking forward to returning in a few weeks. It's by far the best site we have been to and would recommend it to anyone.

All the Best,

Naoimh Mathers, Newry. (July 2011)

     Hi there Art & Pauline

Many thanks for a great week at Sleepy Hollows on 6th June 2011.
Very nice site which is kept really neat and tidy, I loved the soft music which plays in the toilets and showers which are spotlessly clean.
A lovely place to visit if you want a bit if peace and quiet.
Art was very helpful with anything we asked but a bit slow to buy the Guinness.....
We are returning in August and hope to stay for 4 weeks this time.
See you all soon.

Brilliant Campsite, fantastic hosts, excellent facilities.

With thanks to Art & Pauline, (& their daughter) who kindly assisted us in getting our flat battery car started, the nice music playing in the amenities, the electric pump that blew up our air bed in milliseconds, and the invaluable local advice, what to do and see from Art, we both really enjoyed staying at Sleepy Hollows campsite and we will definatly be returning soon. Thanks guys

This is a great campsite, we stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t fault the place. The owners are very welcoming and very hands on to help if you require. We were pitching a tent for 2. They even allowed us to have the dog (on the lead at all times which is expected). They have an area at the back near the river where the dogs can be walked etc.

The facilities are very good, running hot water all the time, clean showers (no extra charges), toilets and the kitchen to make a brew and keep some food was a gift for tent dwellers. They clearly know their stuff. The tent area was well maintained and wasn’t overrun with tents so we weren’t camping on top of each other. They also have a small area for caravans and campervans. We were up early and out all day until late evening seeing the sights and the place could not be safer to leave your tent. Two pubs nearby for food and drinks, within driving distance of Glenveagh National Park, Dungloe and all of the northwest coast including the Bloody Foreland.

Thank you for making our first visit to Donegal a very pleasant camping experience. Highly recommended.

Hi Art & Pauline,

We spent a fantastic ten days at Sleepy Hollows, what a super camp site, everything a camper could wish for. Constant hot water, clean toilet & shower block and for us something very special, two fields where we were able to walk Sullivan, our dog and enjoy all the wonderful plants and wildlife by the river.
You are both so friendly and helpful and your campsite is a credit to you both.
One of the best holidays we have ever had, certainly we will return and recommend your site and your hospitality.
Good luck,

Stayed at Sleepy Hollows on Sat 18th July. It was my first ever camping trip  - as you can imagine I was pretty apprehensive beforehand but when I got to Sleepy Hollows I had a very different opinion.

Campsite is very well maintained and the grounds around it are beautiful – a credit to Art!!

All facilites are excellent, toilets and showers are spotlessly clean.   Planning a return visit already!!

Keep up the good work Roisín July 2009

Hi Art,

Had a great stay on Saturday night. The facilities were above and beyond what we expected. The only dampener was the horrendous thunderstorm and the midges, but one cancelled out the other :-)

Thanks again and keep up the high standards,  Regards, Francis, Co. Monaghan, June 2009

Thank you for a wonderful 2 days camping at Sleepy Hollows.  Everyone made us feel so welcome.  The campsite was brilliant and the countryside beautiful.  Would happly recommend this site to everyone.

A Chara,

As regular visitors to this region we feel we must compliment the Wilsons on their fantastic facilities/hospitality they offered at Sleepy Hollow during our stay of Easter 2009, from our initial meeting with the family we knew this was a special place, as this was our first camping experience as a family (our kids had been very wary of camping) we were welcomed to the site not only by the Wilsons but other families who had pitched their tents and offered us assistance.
We shall return again in the summer as now our whole family have been bitten by the camping bug.
Go raibh mile maith agat,

O'hAdHmaill, Belfast, Easter 2009

   Thanks

Dear Mr and Mrs Wilson,

Arrived home in the Netherland again we felt the need to thank you for your hospitallity. We adored your campsite place in your garden. The Dutch newspaper from the internet was every morning a nice surprice. And you inspired us to installate a classical radiostation in our toilet.
We loved your place.

Fantastic Holiday

My wife and our two little girls stayed at Sleepy Hollows over Easter 2008 and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was our first time caravanning and the site owners Art & Pauline were most helpful in helping us sort out an electrical problem with our van.
The site is very child friendly, exceptionally clean and the facilities are excellent.
With pubs and shops close by and being surrounded by beautiful countryside I honestly think it would be difficult to find a better situated and relaxing site for either camping or caravanning. We even booked another holiday before we left!
And for any of you with lawns out there take a look at the amazing automatic lawn mowers that Art sells and uses on the site. They're great wee machines.

This is a truly wonderful site with friendly and helpful staff, who are welcoming and friendly,, I enjoyed my stay at Sleepyhollows, and I will be back again, very relaxed atmosphere and close enough to all the amenities , but still far enough away from the stresses of life, absolutely brilliant caravan and camp site, I would recommend booking though as I think this undiscovered treasure for all caravan and camping enthusiasts will become a popular site, as there is so much to do locally, and Leo's and tassies pubs are just minutes walk away from the site, all I can say to summaries is , absolute bliss.

Dear Art and Pauline,
When we ever come back to Donegal, we will come to your campsite. Although we realise, that the wonderfull site we had will be impossible to reach because of the new extensions Art will make on his deck in the near future. Meanwhile we will dream of a new invented lifestyle. “Living like the gods in Crolly”!   Thanks for your hospitality,Regouin, Nederlands 4/9/2005

We don't know if you remember us, but we stayed on your lovely campsite from july the 3e until the 7e and we enjoyed it very much, despite the midges. We celebrated our 33 wedding-anniversery at Leo's and he let us dance and sing a Dutch song. We like to thank your doughter again for the roses and hope to visit your site in the future.
In the mean time we are home again and enjoy the many pictures we made on our trip throughout Ireland.

We enjoyed our holiday very much and were sad to return home, back to work, earning money for our next holiday!                                                        Teun and Jorien from Westkapelle, Holland. 26/10/2004

We just got home and wanted to thank you for our lovely stay at your campsite. We had a lovely, relaxing time and hope to be back next year. Thanks for all your help,                        Laura and Sean 15/8/2004

We visited this campsite in August and had a great time. The free facilities were great and we enjoyed our first camping trip. The owners provided insect repellent, which was very handy, especially when putting up the tent, as the midges were everywhere. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and the pubs were great!                                                                                                                            Laura 16-08-2004

The campsite is excellent. Great views and access to local shops & pubs, The owners are very helpful to all great for children. i really enjoyed my 4 night stay.                                     Phillip Connor 14-07-2004

We absolutely loved this site. It is everything we love small, quiet, peaceful, well maintained and obviously enjoyed by its owners.
There are two pubs within 4-5 minutes walking distance one being the famous Leo's Tavern (home to Clannad and Enya) where live music is held most evenings in the Summer.
The toilet block is kept wonderfully clean and replenished and has in built audio entertainment. The kitchen also has several day tours of surrounding areas listed on the wall. For those who are unable to bear being seperated from UKCampsite.co.uk during their holiday internet access can be arranged.
The beauty of this site is its intimacy so if you want a large site with built entertainment, clubhouse, pool etc this probably is not the site for you. But for peace to catch up on your reading and absolutely no fuss and the usual rules give Sleepy Hollows a try. I know we'll be back.
It is so good that if it was closer to home I wouldn't be sharing it with you.

Heather & I have just spent three days at the excellent Sleepy hollow, this a splendid site the facilities are very good. we were made very welcome by art(who is more than happy to relay plenty of information on the surrounding area). The local pub's are great, a good welcome in both.
The only down side are the the irrepressible MIDGES who are VERY friendly!!! So pay Sleepy Hollow a visit you won't be disappointed.                  Phil Bottom 16-08-2003
