| This great house, formally known as Magh House was built
prior to the 1770's.
At one time, the hated land agent, Sam Hussey lived there. It was also home to a number of prominent families before being used as a hospital beginning in 1937. It closed in 1988 and lay empty for nine years. It has recently passed again into private hands and is being renovated. |

Having scored seven A1's in her Leaving Certificate in June, Eileen earned first place in the Student Achievement Award scheme run by the Business Studies Teachers' Association of Ireland. Eileen studied for her Leaving Certificate at St. Joseph's (Presentation) in Castleisland. |
