This year's Kerry Arts Festival is being billed as the largest to date, with an expanded programme including:

 Environmental Craft Event, Children's workshops in story telling, dance and drama, a poetry project,

festival clubs and the ever popular street events.

Basketwork in Knocknagoshel

Tuition available on an individual or small group basis.

"SALLY" Is the Local name given to Willow used in basketwork. It has been grown and woven in Kerry for many generations, and is one of the oldest crafts known to man, some say pre-dating pottery.

A "Sally" basket is lightweight, strong and long lasting and will benefit from an annual wash in the summer rain.
