When
the last train departed Clifden in 1935 the
Station House closed its doors. Now 64 years
later those doors are open to welcome a new
generation of visitor to share in the hospitality
of a bygone era. The Station House Hotel, Clifden's
newest hotel, i s the centrepiece of a
sympathetic restoration offering something for
everyone. Guests can enjoy the finest cuisine at
the Station House Restaurant before making tracks
to the Station House Bar to relish the pace of
this Connemara oasis.
