St Als had a very good year in camogie, reaching the final of the Cork Colleges camogie Cup. They were beaten in the final but it was a great sporting occasion with huge support from students and staff on Friday 11th March at the Barr's pitch.Well played to both teams!Thanks to the trainers of the St Als team for all their effort in the past year.

St Als was in winning mode recently with three UCC entrance scholarships being awarded to three of our Leaving Certificate students, on the basis of their 2004 Leaving Cert. exam results. Well done!

The ESAT BT Young Scientist of the Year competition in January 2005 saw St Als student win the Analog Devices Technology Award for her entry entitled "Eliminating false alarms on auto-dial Systems" (see photo below).
