Table Quiz

We are commencing this years fund raising with a table quiz in The Bridge House Rochfortbridge on Thursday March 1th. commencing at 9.00 pm. Teams of four would be most welcome. We would encourage all members and players to try and organise teams for this event as funds are low at present.

Membership

Club registrar Nollaig McEntegart asks me to remind all members and prospective members that the membership fee is now due. Membership for the year costs £10 and can be paid to Nollaig or any committee member.

Leinster Intermediate Competition

We are the Westmeath representatives in a new competition for County Intermediate Hurling Champions being run by Leinster Council. We are in a grouped together with Ballymahon

and Kinnity from which one team will advance to the next round. Our first match in the competition will be play on Sunday March 4th.

Training

Training has commenced on Sunday mornings at 11 am in Dalystown and turnouts so far are very encouraging. We would ask those players who have yet to make a start to make the effort and turn up as we are facing into a very important year.

Under 12 Indoor Training

Indoor training under the guidance of Eamon Gallagher has recommenced in St. Josephs Hall Rochfortbridge. With numbers being so big Eamon has had to divide the training over two nights and from this week onwards up to aged nines will train on Monday nights and from aged ten to twelve will train on Thursday nights.
