Fe 12 Hurling

On Thursday evening last we qualified for the final of the Fe 12 B hurling championship by virtue of a one point win over Ringtown.

After a league series in which we played fourteen games we were eagerly awaiting the championship in which we were grouped together with Ringtown, Cullion, Turin and Delvin. Of the fourteen games played we were victorious in seven and we were hoping that the experience gained would stand to us when the championship commenced. Having defeated Ringtown in the league by the narrowest of margins we knew that there would be very little between us come championship and so it turned out with the result in doubt up until the very end. As it was it took two late frees both pointed by Damien Moran to win this game.

We now go on to meet Delvin in the final with date and venue to be announced later.

The team and fir ionad were as follows; Stephen Quinn, Ronan Flanagan, Damien Moran, Billy Maher, Kevin Loughrey, Darragh Coyne, Sean Deegan, Francis Nally, Aiden Fallon, Kevin Morgan, Christopher Coyne, Daniel Crombie, Conor Slevin, Niall Brady, Jason Feery, Fir Ionad, James Gonoud, Ben Gavin, Enda McCabe, Ciaran Daly, Aiden Wright, Owen Gorman, David Gaye, Barry Murtagh, Shane Newman.

Get Well Wishes

We send our get well wishes to Brendan Keegan who suffered a hand injury recently. Hopefully he will be fit for the final.
