St.Brigid's Hurling Club Notes

On Saturday week last we played Brownstown in an under 10 challenge game. The mach was played in Rochfortbridge and proved very enjoyable for all our younger players. There was some lovely hurling played by both sides and at the end we came out victorious on a score of 4-1 to 3-1. The team was as follows Stephen Quinn, Danny Galvin, Colin Gavin, Joe Guiden, Barry Murtagh, Sean Deegan, Fergus Murtagh, Ben Gavin, Conor Slevin, David Gaye, Ciaran Daly, Stephen Nally, Solemon Rice, Aiden Wright, Aaron Byrne. Refreshments were served afterwards and everyone went home happy. We would like to express our thanks the Brownstown club for travelling up to Rochfortbridge for the match and hopefully we will return the favour soon.

Our web site manager has returned from his world tour and has now brought our web site up to date. On the web site can be seen news from the club plus photographs from our recent fe 12 final.

On Friday night November 16^th we are holding a table quiz in Wallaces Lounge Dalystown commencing at 9.30 pm. We are hoping all our members and friends will support this event.
