Our Library

Our library is situated in the Shopping Centre near the school. It's very handy it's so near to us. It's a new library and is very warm and cosy. The librarians are very helpful to us and are very kind. Their names are Mary, David and Lisa. The caretaker's name is Sean.

When we go to the library every second Tuesday we are made feel very welcome by the librarians. When we are looking for a book that we want the librarians come and help you until you find it.
Sean helps you out when you need information on books and even helps you with your homework!
There are lovely plants and lovely pictures on the walls. There are lots of interesting things to do in the library.
The library puts on a lot of activities for children. For instance, quizzes, story telling, talks about trees and other subjects too.
We spend an hour there every second Tuesday. There is an excellent selection of books in the library. There are lots of tapes and plenty of videos. The videos are very educational. They have fabulous magazines for girls.
If we are looking for a book by an author we like we can use the computer to help us get the names of other books they have written.
Sometimes we go into the library to do our homework with our friends and sometimes we do projects. We really enjoy our local library.
