Saint Michael’s BNS is the oldest school in Longford, its roots stretching back 148 years. Situated in St. Mel’s Road, it has a long and proud tradition in the education of boys from this parish and the town of Longford since 1853.
This school is for and about the 100 pupils that make up the St. Michael’s roll. On this site we try to capture something of the spirit of our school as we enter The New Millennium. In these pages you will come to know the pupils in their creative work, in their sporting activities and their study of our local environment.
But this site celebrates all pupils, past and present. In these pages, we salute all those who have made and continue to make St. Michael’s B.N.S. what it is, as we try to record some of it for history.
