May I.
May I have a word.
I like to talk with you,
You laugh a lot
and cry, and smile, and pout.
There is a moment of everyone in you.
May I walk with you.
I like to be with you
you spend time well.
Each moment loved with carefree earnest,
and the hounds of fortune, baying pass you by.
May I trust in you
to surrogate my dreams
when I am not strong.
And learn to watch
you balance minds excesses in perfect order.
If I hewed my life and made time
would you spend it for me.
