Our U 16 county finalists were presented with their medals on 'Friday night last in the Percy French Hotel. Our senior team captain Donal Hanly presented the medals to the players and gave an excellent encouraging speech. A great night of celebration was had by all an the evening was very well organised and supported. Thanks to everyone who helped make the night such a great success. Our senior team had a great win over Kilbride on Saturday last at home. We were missing six regulars for various reasons on the day. Final score Strokestown 0-10 Kilbride 0-7. 
Luke Dolan was in superb form again kicking some fantastic frees against the strong wind. That win puts the senior team in the O'Rourke Cup semi-final. Next Saturday we play Michael Glaveys in the ACL replay in Castlerea at 4.00pm The Club would appreciate more support. Arrangements are being finalised for our Under 21 medal presentation. Details later. Training continues both in Dublin and at home on Wednesday and Friday nights. All players including junior, intermediate and senior to attend.
