The In-Career Development Courses run every
week from the 1st of July to the 31st of August. They can be
residential or non-residential.
Course aim:
We aim to inspire teachers with
an exciting and refreshingly different approach to working
with clay in the primary school classroom. The object is for
teachers to learn to discover ideas in their surroundings,
apply them to clay and pass on this ability to children. Also
to equip teachers with some practical tools for the future and
enable them to unlock a child's creative abilities.
With lectures, but mainly by
practical workshops we work through an array of techniques and
ideas, which can work with both kiln fired- or air dried clay,
but could also be adapted to other materials.
