The Performing Arts School is Ireland's answer to FAME..... a performance school where young people aged between 2 and18 years can experience all types of Dance, Drama and Singing.
Young people join the Performing Arts School for all sorts of reasons. Some want to become Professional Actors, some want to be Singers or Dancers. Others want to Produce and Direct and there are those who simply want to widen their horizons and make new friends. The Performing Arts School has something for everyone!!
No previous experience is necessary. Classes include: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Drama, Singing, Musical Theatre, Tap. Funk, Street Dance, Theatre, Workshop, Film Production, Song and Dance and Singing for toddlers, with new classes are about being introduced every year. All classes are about having fun, building up confidence and expressing oneself creatively as well as training students in a particular way.
The School runs for three terms (just like normal school, but at weekends). To gain the most from the classes it is important to dedicate and commit to a class for the year. During the year students can participate in numerous workshops, some which are given by top T.V. Personalities. There are also RAD Ballet Exams, Irish Board of Speech and Drama Poetry Exams, and Grade exams. We are very pleased to say that all our students have always achieved excellent results.
