Gidget Gein played the bass on the album & was fired from the band after the recording was finished because of a heroin addiction.
The album was originally supposed to have a painting of a clown by John Wayne Gacy as the cover with a picture of Manson naked when he was 6 & pictures of a 'mutilated' woman in the sleeve.
