40K - Squats
SQUAT SPECIAL RULES
Hatred: Squats live long and have good memories. They will
also remember any grudge or slight by anyone. Squats have a long
history of wars with Orkz, and as a result, all Squats have an
intense hatred for Orks. This allows them to re-roll failed hits
in close combat. In addition, they are always considered as being
fearless when facing Orks.
Movement: Because of their short legs and massive width,
the Squats are not the most graceful of people. To represent this,
they may only move 3 inches in the assault phase. In addition,
they may only roll one D6 when pursuing a broken foe and only
one D6 if broken. Also, when going through rough terrain, they
roll one die less than the maximum. Note: This can never be reduced
below 1D6.
Home Guard: Squats are not a conquering race, and must
always defend in any mission(except in special circumstances).
Squats are too busy sitting at home and drinking strong ale all
day or having border disputes with neighbors to go out and ravage
planets and conquer worlds. If two Squat forces are battling one
another then decide as normal which force is attacking and defending.
Strategy Rating: The Squat army, being mostly defensive
in nature, but based on their Home-worlds, is fairly well organized.
Their strong warlike nature and natural leadership is also a great
benefit against attack. To represent this, Squats have a strategy
rating of 2.
